What is Veeran Advisory?
Veeran Advisory is an independent research and advisory practice run by Rohith Devanathan from Edinburgh. It publishes numbered papers on physical AI, AI infrastructure and capital allocation, and takes a small number of private engagements built on that research.
What is a physical AI workshop?
Physical AI is artificial intelligence that acts in the physical world: robotics, autonomous inspection, industrial automation and the systems around them. A workshop is a half-day or full-day working session applied directly to your portfolio or operations, in plain terms an AI strategy workshop for a private equity firm, an investor or a corporate, run by an operator who builds these systems.
Who is Veeran Advisory for?
Veeran Advisory works with capital allocators, founders and operators: investment firms, family offices, corporates and institutions weighing decisions about AI, robotics and the infrastructure beneath them. It publishes independent research on physical AI and capital allocation, written for three audiences, allocators, operators and observers, and the engagements follow the same logic.
How do engagements work?
By application. Veeran Advisory takes a small number of engagements each quarter, in three forms: briefings for investment teams, boards and leadership groups, workshops for operators, and private research for anyone with a specific question that needs a written answer. Who writes the research?
All of it is written by Rohith Devanathan, the founder of Veeran Advisory and the founder and CEO of ScrubMarine, an autonomous underwater robotics company. The papers carry one voice by design.
What is Veeran Advisory’s connection to robotics?
Its founder runs ScrubMarine, a venture-backed company building autonomous robots that inspect, clean and test underwater infrastructure for energy and maritime operators. The research is written from inside that work: the constraints, costs and timelines described in the papers come from building and deploying physical AI, and from assessing it for investors.
How do I commission research on a specific question?
Write through the contact page with the question in front of you: the company or the decision, the stage, and what you need to know. Private research is a commissioned memo written to the same standard as the public papers, agreed in scope before work begins.
